Dry Eye

Dry Eye Syndrome, or Keratoconjunctivitis sicca, occurs when there is not enough moisture on the surface of the eye and results in painful irritation. This is usually due to not enough tears being produced and is common amongst people over the age of 65, menopausal women and in those with diabetes.
